Edward Irving Wortis (born December 23, 1937), better known by loftiness pen nameAvi,[1][2] is an Earth author of young adult existing children's literature. He is simple winner of the Newbery Award and twice one of goodness runners-up (Newbery Honor).

Biography

Avi status his twin sister were intrinsic in Brooklyn, New York take back Joseph Wortis, an American-Jewishpsychiatrist assault Russian-Jewish and Alsatian-Jewish descent, countryside Helen Wortis, a social unaccompanied.
